P5.js and other amazing things!

I’ve taken a huge interest in the coding train after randomly running into one of their p5.js tutorials. However, I find myself discouraged by the fact there are so many out and lots of people have been following the videos since day 1. These people are so up to date, it would take me about a year to catch up.

So far I’ve only created 1 p5.js application, but I’m hoping to create more. I will be sure to append any future changes to this blog.

How to replace text (HTML) with CSS

Sometimes you find yourself having to change some text on a page you can easily style using CSS but don’t know where the source code of the page is.

Here’s how to do it:

Suppose you wanted to change the text on the “Add to Cart” button from “Add to Cart” to “Purchase” and knew the “Add to Cart” button belonged to the class “.add-to-cart”, this is how you’d go about doing it:

.add-to-cart {
visibility: none;

.add-to-cart:after {
content: ‘Purchase’;
visibility: visible;
display: block;

Hope you found that helpful.
